Getting Started
You only need to register a username to start playing Fun Run 2! Select “New Player” and type in your preferred username. You’ll get a number after your username to indicate your individual account. Make a note of this number in case you ever need support, as it’ll help us find the correct account!
How do I play Fun Run 2?
You run to the right automatically. You jump over obstacles using the button on the right side of the screen: , and you use powerups by pressing the button on the left side of the screen: . You pick up powerups by running over the boxes: .
What are the different power-ups?

How does the Rocket power-up work?
The Rocket will explode after 5 seconds if you don’t get killed by someone else or protect yourself by using a Shield, Balloon, Speed Boost or another Rocket before the time’s up. If you don’t get lucky with the power-ups, stay close to an opponent to take them down with you. The Rocket will start flashing when it’s close to exploding!
How does the Rifle power-up work?
When you pick it up, a red mark starts pointing at the heads of the different players in the progress bar at the bottom of the screen. When you activate the powerup, you kill the marked player. Be careful not to hit yourself!
What are the different game modes?
Practice: Offline playing versus bots. You get no coins/rating, but it’s a nice way to prepare your winning strikes against your friends or random players.
Quick Play: Get matched with random players from around the world. You get to vote on one of two maps chosen randomly from the map pool.
Friends Play: Create a game session and invite your friends to play. You can either select a map to play with your friends, or choose Quick Play for a random map.
If you’re playing with only one or two friends, you can choose Quick Play to fill up the game with random players. You can chat with your friends before the host starts the game.
What does the Main Menu look like?
Why do I lose rating when I disconnect?
This is to avoid people disconnecting on purpose whenever they are about to lose a game.
What are Daily Challenges?
Daily Challenges: are a way for you to earn som extra coins or items. The Daily Challenges vary from day to day and are reset every 24 hours. To accomplish them you have to e.g. win 50 games. You can see which ones are active by selecting Challenges: in the main menu. When you win complete a Daily Challenge “Spin to Win” will pop up:
What is Spin to Win?
When you complete a daily challenge, you can play the spinning wheel. You can win coins, Mystery Prizes (accessories) or two more chances to spin the wheel.
What are Achievements?
Achievements are similar to Daily Challenges, but do not vary from day to day. You will be notified when you complete an achievement. Claim your rewards for completing achievements under the Achievements tab: in the Challenges scene.
Some achievements have three levels where the rewards increase for every level. These achievements are marked with stars that indicate the level you have achieved.
How can I get coins to buy new avatars and accessories?
There are two different ways to get coins:
1. Win games
2. Complete Daily Challenges and Achievements
What can I do with my coins?
You can reward yourself by buying different avatars and accessories with your coins in the market place: . You can also make purchases using a credit card.
How do I get different skins for my avatar?
When you have an avatar selected in the Market, press to see the different skins available for this avatar. Some of the skins can be purchased right away, while others need to be unlocked by winning games. E.g. if you want to buy the Brown Bear, you first have to win 300 games using the Bear.
The rarest avatars, like the Golden Fox or Golden Bear can only be unlocked by winning challenges like the Weekly List.
How do I add friends?
There are three ways to add friends in Fun Run 2:
1. Click the icon in the post-lobby after playing a game.
2. Click the icon in the upper left corner of the “Friends scene”: , and type in the username you want to add.
3. Click the icon in Friends Play.
How do I delete friends?
To delete someone from your friends list, first select the “trash can”: icon in the upper left corner of the Friends scene, and a trash can will appear next to your friends’ usernames. Press the trash can to delete.
What is this icon ?
Items marked with this icon are new in the Market since the latest Fun Run 2 update.
Can I play Fun Run 2 in my own language?
At this point Fun Run 2 only supports English. We will add more languages in future updates.
I can’t connect to Fun Run 2
Make sure you have an internet connection. If you have connection problem when using a public Wi-Fi hotspot you should try connect to another Wi-Fi network or 3G (your operator might charge for the usage).
Can I use my old Fun Run account in Fun Run 2?
No, Fun Run 2 is a separate game and accounts don’t carry over from Fun Run.

Can I change my username?
Go to the Settings scene: from the Main Menu. Select to change your username. Changing your username costs 1000 coins.
How can I add an email and password to my username?
You have two options in settings : Either press the “Connect to Facebook” button, or press the “Account Info” button. In the “Account Info” scene you can add an email address and password to your username.
How do I log out of Fun Run 2?
Go to the Settings scene: from the Main Menu. Press Logout. Note: This button will only appear if you’ve added an email address and password to your account, or connected to Facebook (see explanation above).
Can I change my password or email address?
Go to the Settings scene: from the Main Menu. Select “Edit Password” to change your password and “Edit Email” to change your email address.
I forgot my username!
You can log into your Fun Run 2 account using your registered email or by connecting to Facebook.
I didn’t put a password/email when I created the account and I deleted the app/lost my phone etc. Now I can’t login. Help!

Can I delete my account?
Unfortunately it is not possible to delete Fun Run 2 accounts. If you have an email address registered to your account, we can delete this for you. Contact support@dirtybit.com.
I get a message saying my username is invalid
Make sure that there are no spaces anywhere in the username, even at the end. Sometimes devices will add a space at the end when you type in your username.
Will I lose my rating and coins if I reinstall the game?
No, your rating and coins are tied to your Fun Run 2 account as long as you’ve added an email and password. Log in after reinstallation and everything should work just fine. See explanation above on how to add an email and password to your username.
